Men's Meet-up Group

Description: Hang out with other men who are navigating the foster, kinship, guardianship, and adoption journey. Kids are welcomed. -
Park Meet-up
When: 2nd Saturday of the month, 10am - 12pm
Location: Hilltop Park, 9711 Oviedo Way
San Diego, CA 92129
Description: Meet up with other foster, kinship, guardianship, and adoptive families in a laid back environment. The kids can play while the adults connect.

Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors

Location: Angels Foster Family, Clairemont
Description: Using Robyn Gobbels book Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors we synthesize interpersonal neurobiology research into parent-practical, kid-friendly perspectives to enhance your parenting skills and address challenging behaviors. We welcome you to a sage place where you will be seen, known and cared for. Childcare provided onsite upon request.

Grief Group

Description: Grief is often woven into the foster, kinship, and guardianship journey. Whether it’s the loss of a placement, the weight of uncertainty, or the ache of goodbye, this path carries paiin that’s often unseen or not well understood. Led by a therapist, this group offers a space to connect wth others who understand. While we’ll focus on the grief of placement loss, all types of grief are welcomed and will be explored.

When: Once Monthly, Thursday evening

We share honest experiences, offer support, and explore practical tools for navigating the ongoing challenges and joys of adoptive parenting with compassion and clarity.
